⚠️ BSC Service Update ⚠️ We have restored our Binance Smart Chain service. We had an outage on our blockchain node caused by a congested mempool and numerous submitted blocks being considered valid but in fact were sent from validators out of sequence. Our node is currently in sync, running the recommended new software version published by Binance today. In our opinion, it's incredibly risky to trade on BSC at the moment, we continue to hear numerous reports of failing and rejected transactions and also significant delays. The public RPC servers you all use to connect to Binance Smart Chain are in varying statuses of synchronisation with the blockchain, some are significantly behind, and this will compound your difficulties in transacting. We're still receiving significant volumes of transaction data, but we cannot be 100% sure that there are no duplicate trades being received by different validators, nor can we be sure they are from blocks that are considered valid once we have processed them - our nodes receive them and assume their validity because Binance has no miners, just centralised validators. When a new block comes in with the same height but different signing validator, one of them will be chosen as valid, by which time, we have likely already processed that block. This is not normal behaviour, this points to a fundamental issue with BSC consensus. Please, trade very carefully. We will keep the BSC situation under review but if instability continues to the point it compromises our ability to offer a reliable service, we may need to temporarily suspend this if we cannot assure the integrity of the underlying on-chain data.

We are running integrity checks as we have noticed a lot of duplicate transactions being posted from different validators and accepted as valid by blockchain nodes, we will keep you posted

Trades are imported and the pipeline is now running in realtime, candles are rendering. An estimated 2m trades to be processed still into candles

We have nodes back in sync now but we're not 100% sure on whether the trade data is completely trustworthy due to issues on the BSC network itself with duplicated blocks, we have begun importing trades. This process may take a few hours to clear the backlog
